Item of the Month...
London Records, as part of a promotion for some of the artists in their fold, released a cassette of tunes from said artists in the early '90s, including songs from the La's, the Meat Puppets, and of course, the Trash Can Sinatras. The cassette was housed in a metal case resembling tins used to store film reels.
Interestingly, the tune use to showcase the Trash Can Sinatras (as they were called back then) is "Tonight You Belong to Me", a duet between Frank Reader and his sister Richael, and really just a novelty--not exactly one of their hoped for hits. Perhaps you remember this same song performed by Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters in the film The Jerk.
